Photo print on light box with LED light inside

In this series, I invite you to explore color and light through a unique lens. Inspired by the commercial lightboxes that illuminate our urban landscapes, I have transformed these everyday objects into artworks that celebrate the pure beauty of color.

As a colorblind artist, my relationship with color is both personal and profound. Each artwork captures a fleeting moment where color becomes both subject and storyteller. The images inside the lightboxes are photographs of flowers, meticulously transformed into abstract compositions. By stripping away recognizable forms, I emphasize the vibrant colors within nature's intricate designs.

Color Light Boxes offers a dual experience: each piece is both a work of art and a functional light object that can be switched on, creating a dynamic interplay between light and color in your space. By reimagining the purpose of lightboxes, I shift the focus from commercial intent to the contemplative appreciation of color itself.
